Dear Cobo Users,
The current estimated time for ETH MERGE is September 15, 2022 11:30 (Singapore time).
The deposit and withdrawal of ETH and its tokens will be suspended from 22:00 (Singapore time) on September 14, 2022.
If a hard fork occurs and a new chain is created, the code for the Ethereum Proof of Work (PoW) mainnet and its forked tokens will be “ETHW”.
If the ETHW chain persists, COBO will assist all users who hold ETH in the COBO account with all technical requirements involved, and credit the forked token (ETHW) to the eligible COBO account at a ratio of 1:1. Distribution details will be announced separately.
Any ETH deposits on the Ethereum network during the suspension period will not be credited to COBO accounts. In the event of a hard fork and a new chain is created, users will not be eligible to receive any forked tokens.
After the merge is completed and the network is stabilised, COBO will re-initiate the deposit and withdrawal of ETH and will make a separate announcement pertaining to the event.
